Our history began in 2002, when IBM acquired PwC Consulting. As the only partner in Europe, Herbert Nathan chose to say no to joining IBM. The reason was clear: belonging to an organisation that both sells and implements systems is incompatible with the role of an objective advisor. The desire to always prioritise the customer's unique needs over vendor interests outweighed the security found in the large consulting firms.
HerbertNathan & Co was founded in 2003 under the motto "The consultant who said no to IBM," a quote from the Danish newspaper Børsen that has since become our trademark. For us, independence is not just a word; it is our raison d'être. By consistently rejecting partnerships with system vendors, we guarantee our customers an integrity that is rare in the industry.
