The Assignment

A Group-wide ERP Strategy

HerbertNathan & Co was commissioned to help Batisanté develop a group-wide ERP strategy that could replace the organisation's aged and fragmented system environment. With over 1,100 employees and five business units within fire protection, hygiene, technical diagnostics, maintenance, and digital services, the company faced significant challenges related to data quality, processes, and scalability. Through interviews, workshops, and detailed analyses of processes and IT environment, we mapped the business needs and identified realistic future scenarios. The work also included market analysis of possible ERP options and an assessment of how the business system should interact with the group's existing CRM and Service systems.

The Result

A clear roadmap and a sustainable path to modernisation

The delivery provided Batisanté with a clear and actionable ERP strategy including recommended courses of action, cost estimates, needs assessments and risk analyses. The strategy resulted in a direction towards a modern best-of-breed landscape where a new ERP system is combined with Salesforce as the platform for customer and field service. The work created a shared vision for the organisation and gave management a solid basis for decision-making for continued modernisation, including prioritised initiatives, governance model and implementation structure. The strategy thereby provided Batisanté with both direction and the ability to act for the next phase of its digital transformation.

HerbertNathan & Co helped us draw a very detailed target and roadmap for our transformation. Many options were analysed and in the end we decided for one scenario and the strategy to deploy it.
