Trioworld is a global world-leading group in plastic packaging solutions. The group's operations cover Europe and the USA with 14 production plants and 1,400 employees. The company was in strong international expansion and growth based on an active acquisition agenda.
The group had a variety of local and older business systems and needed to establish a unified and scalable ERP strategy to support the business's global ambitions, strengthen data quality, and enable more efficient processes across the divisions.


HerbertNathan & Co was commissioned to help Trioworld develop a comprehensive ERP strategy for the group, followed by the procurement of a group-wide ERP system. The work was based on interviews and workshops with the management and staff, as well as a detailed analysis of business processes in sales, order, purchasing, production, logistics, and finance, together with a review of the IT infrastructure and ERP landscape. The assignment also included a market analysis and evaluation of various ERP scenarios and possible alternatives to support Trioworld's continued international expansion. After the strategy was established and decided, HerbertNathan & Co also carried out the evaluation and procurement of a group-wide ERP system. HerbertNathan & Co also participated during the implementation with governance, quality assurance, and change management.
The result of the work was a clear and structured ERP strategy that gave Trioworld a unified direction for how the business systems landscape should develop in the short and long term. The strategy included recommended scenarios, cost estimates, risk assessments as well as an evaluation of which ERP platforms best met the group’s needs for scalability, standardisation and international support. It also provided a common vision for the entire organisation and laid the foundation for the decision to establish a global ERP initiative with strong owner support. Through the implementation project, Trioworld also gained a solid project structure with clear roles, mandates, process ownership and a plan for change management, data migration, integrations and testing. The work created both clarity and drive for the next phase in the group’s digital transformation.
HerbertNathan & Co added authority and confidence to our plans and ultimately cemented the approval from the Board for this major investment.
